Do you really know how to play Base Shovel Clanker?
In a recent development, the Base Beneficial Effect has been significant. The Rhythm editor has compiled the story of one of its main engines, Clanker, which received official recognition in Northeastern dialect. The following is the original text:

Base has two main shovels: Virtual and Clanker.
The former is an AI agent platform that has been around for almost a year. Recently, Base has seen a massive influx. The recent surge of $VIRTUAL exceeded a market cap of over 1.8 billion and has since fallen back to 1.3 billion;
The latter is a post-to-mint AI agent tool on Farcaster, originating from grassroots. Just born 20 days ago, the flagship meme $CLANKER skyrocketed over 140M but has now plummeted significantly to 50M.
Both have given rise to numerous myths of thousandfold riches. For more details, see: "From 0.1 ETH to $840K: How did Smart Money get rich overnight through Base?"
Regarding Virtual, you can refer to Professor @cutepandaweb3's tweet.
Now, let's delve into the study of Clanker:
1. Clanker 101
On Farcaster, you can mention Clanker, state the token name, ticker, and header image to get Clanker listed on Base for free with an initial market value of around $30,000 in the Uniswap pool (the threshold is a high Neynar score on the Farcaster account, making it challenging for newcomers to mint tokens). You can view all deployed tokens on the official website.
Unlike PumpFun, which collects a 1% transaction fee during the bonding curve period and 2 Sols on the Raydium, Clanker does not have a bonding curve; instead, it collects a 1% fee from Uni v3 as revenue: 40% to the minter and 60% to the Clanker team—this revenue split ratio may change, see details in the official documentation.
2. Pumpfun vs Clanker
1. Mechanism:
Clanker = Cast to Pumpfun (Posting behavior on Farcaster is called casting)
2. Revenue:
PumpFun generated approximately $360 million in revenue within 10 months, while Clanker generated approximately $7 million in revenue within 20 days.
Note: Clanker's total market cap is less than $200 million, with a total trading volume of around $750 million, and fewer than 100,000 participants in total transactions.
3. Token Issuance:
PumpFun issued a total of 4 million tokens, with a daily increase of 1%; Clanker issued approximately 5,000 tokens in total, with a daily increase of 10%.
4. Top Tokens:
PumpFun: $Pnut (1.1B), $GOAT (700M), $Chillguys (370M)
Clanker: $CLANKER (50M), $ANON (21M), $LUM (18M)
$CLANKER is the first meme token issued by Clanker and naturally became the flagship token without official empowerment;
$LUM is another token issued by Aether, a bot for Clanker;
$ANON is a token anonymously issued by someone using Anoncast for Clanker.
5. Dune Data:
Clanker VS Pumpfun VS other(WOW/Ape.store/Grafun)
Three, ANON × Clanker
Anoncast × Clanker = Anonfun
Originally, there was only Anoncast, without Anonfun. Later, the team divided Anoncast's functionality in half: one half was still called Anoncast, allowing everyone to anonymously post, while the other half was called Anonfun, allowing everyone to anonymously post memes.
The grafting of these two created a scenario where real-name PVP in "Socialfi games" regressed back to anonymous PVP in "Gamefi games"—there is no fundamental difference between betting on Anonfun on Base and finding angles on SOL to bet on Pumpfun.
It is important to note: Anonymous = No official status, you can post memes on Anoncast's Twitter verified account with just a borrowed 6wu, making it truly barrier-free.
You can check out the specific rules inthis tweet I wrote.
Currently, the total MC of memes posted through Anonfun is less than 3M, see Anonfun Dune for details.
Four, Team
The team behind Clanker is an anonymous team called proxystudio, and they are currently addressing the issue of BOT front-running.
Next, they have also pledged to add the following to Clanker: exploration functionality, presale functionality, advanced or custom fee allocation tools; the next step is to build the community, brand, operations, content, etc. (which includes both Clanker and any ecosystem projects that require content—creating interaction around Clanker and receiving rewards from projects and creators)
Five, Trading Tools
Everyone can choose mainstream BOTs such as gmgn, pepeboost, etc., or choose mainstream wallets like the OKX Wallet. Currently, the overall development of the base trading tools is not very complete, and the Pixiu often does not understand the detection, so everyone should be careful when trading.
There is also a wallet called Rainbow, which has a partnership with the Clanker official team. It automatically verifies Clanker coins related to a certain market value and transaction volume every 5 minutes. The user interface experience is relatively good, but the security detection function is also not perfect.
