Dubai Police Yet to Confirm Arrests Related to $2.43 Billion Genesis Capital Theft Hack
BlockBeats News, December 5th, on-chain sleuth ZachXBT previously disclosed that Danny / Meech, also known as Danish Zulfiqar (Khan), is suspected to have been arrested by law enforcement and had his crypto assets seized. He was involved in the $243 million Genesis creditor theft in August 2024 with Malone, Veer, Chen, and Jeandiel.
However, The Block's article pointed out that currently, the Dubai police or UAE regulatory authorities have not made any public statements, and no local media reports have been found to confirm any villa raids, arrests, or asset seizures related to Zulfiqar, the Genesis creditor theft, or the earlier Kroll SIM card swapping incident.
