Kazakhstan's National Bank Plans to Allocate Up to $300 Million to Invest in Cryptocurrency
BlockBeats News, November 30th, Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK), stated that they are prepared to invest up to $300 million in cryptocurrency, but the final size has not been determined yet and may only be in the range of $50 million to $250 million.
Earlier reports indicated that on November 7th, Kazakhstan was in the process of establishing a national cryptocurrency mining reserve fund with an expected size of $500 million to $1 billion, with some of the funds coming from assets seized overseas and repatriated.
