BlockBeats News, December 8th, according to Bloomberg, payment startup Airwallex raised $330 million in its latest funding round, valuing the company at $8 billion.
According to a statement released on Monday, this valuation represents a roughly 30% increase from the previous funding round six months ago. Addition led this round of funding, with participation from institutions such as Activant, Lingotto, and TIAA Ventures.
BlockBeats previously reported that on July 7th, Airwallex's website indicated that the company was assembling a stablecoin platform team and was opening up two engineering positions to build stablecoin infrastructure.
