BlockBeats News, December 19th: Federal Reserve Governor Waller and Trump had a "productive interview" regarding the position of Federal Reserve Chair. The probability of him becoming the next Federal Reserve Chair on Polymarket is currently at 14%. In addition, Waller's probability of being nominated by Trump has decreased to 21%, while Hassett's nomination probability has increased to 56%.

Previously reported, according to senior government officials, the two delved into discussions on the labor market and how to stimulate job growth. The interview took place at the presidential residence and concluded shortly before Trump's national address on economic issues on Wednesday night. U.S. Treasury Secretary Besent, White House Chief of Staff Wells, and Deputy Chief of Staff Scavino also attended the interview. Officials stated that BlackRock's Rick Rieder will receive an interview at Mar-a-Lago in the last week of this year.
